THE PROJECT

Boran Reklam created stainless steel box-letter signage for the SERRA yacht. The raised letters sit on the vessel’s white exterior, where their geometric forms stand out against the smooth surface. A soft halo of light adds depth around the lettering.

THE CHALLENGE

A yacht name has to read clearly on a broad, sculpted surface without overwhelming the design around it. On SERRA, the sign occupies a clean white panel beneath the upper-deck glazing. Its metal faces, visible depth and restrained lighting give the lettering presence while leaving the yacht’s form in focus.

THE SOLUTION

The SERRA name is expressed as separate stainless steel box letters, allowing the yacht’s white surface to remain visible between the characters. The sign follows a single horizontal line beneath the dark upper-deck glazing.

Light behind the raised letters provides a gentle halo, while the metallic finish gives the name definition in daylight. Together, the form, placement and lighting support the vessel’s identity without adding a separate sign panel.

LETTER DETAIL

The close-up reveals the thickness of the SERRA letters and the small points of warm light visible behind them. The spacing from the yacht’s surface lets the light trace an understated outline rather than filling the letter faces.

This treatment gives the name a distinct three-dimensional finish in the photographs.

THE RESULT

The completed stainless steel lettering places the SERRA name directly on the yacht’s exterior. Across the wide views and detail photograph, its dimensional form is visible against the white finish, with halo lighting providing a restrained accent.
