BORAN REKLAM / DIRECT UV PRINTING
Composite UV Printing
Brand graphics made for rigid panels.
Print artwork directly onto aluminium composite panels for signs, displays, decorative features and specified exterior applications. Boran Reklam brings printing and precision cutting together to turn a flat sheet into a project-ready graphic component.
THE MATERIAL
A rigid, lightweight base for visual communication.
Aluminium composite panel is formed from two thin aluminium skins around a core. Its flat, stable face is widely used for signs and architectural graphics. The right panel grade, coating, thickness and mounting method depend on where and how the finished piece will be installed.
Direct UV printing applies artwork to the panel surface without a separate printed film. Colour, white ink, surface finish and any protective treatment should be selected for the actual substrate and exposure.
THE APPLICATION
From interior details to exterior signs.
The original page highlights both durable outdoor graphics and decorative interior work. Examples include branded wall features, retail displays, directional signs, building graphics and reusable site notices. The printed panel may be cut to a rectangle or a custom outline.
Outdoor life cannot be reduced to a single number: sunlight, orientation, panel coating, print build-up, climate and maintenance all affect performance. We review these conditions as part of the brief.
ARTISTIC COMPOSITE PRINTING
A façade material with a creative side.
Composite is familiar as a cladding and sign substrate. UV printing expands its role: a photograph, illustration, pattern or campaign graphic can be placed directly on the panel to make a decorative feature or branded environment.
CMYK artwork can be adapted to the panel dimensions and viewing distance. For colour-critical work, approve a physical sample on the intended panel finish; screen previews do not show the full effect of the surface and lighting.
BRANDED ENVIRONMENTS
Graphics that fit the architecture.
Use printed composite for a reception feature, retail display wall, exhibition panel or architectural sign. Multiple panels can carry one continuous image when seams, alignment and installation tolerances are planned from the outset.
For façade use, confirm the substrate specification, fixing system and any applicable fire or building requirements with the project team. The printed face is only one part of the complete assembly.
SMALL OR REPEAT RUNS
One graphic or a coordinated programme.
Direct digital printing allows individual designs, versioned signs or a repeat series without creating a separate screen for every artwork. File names, dimensions and location labels can be coordinated for multi-site projects.
We can discuss cutting, packing and delivery together so each panel arrives ready for the intended installation sequence.
CAUTION & SITE SIGNAGE
Practical panels for changing environments.
The original page describes caution signs for construction and workplace settings. Printed composite can provide a firm panel that is easy to fasten, remove and potentially reuse when its condition remains suitable.
Choose the wording, symbols, colour, dimensions and placement according to the rules relevant to the site. Fixing holes and edge clearances should be agreed before production. Weather performance and reusability depend on the panel grade, installation and exposure; request a project-specific specification.
RAISED UV INK
Add a tactile layer where the design calls for it.
Repeated UV ink passes can build raised letters, dots or decorative details on composite. The original page presents this method in connection with Braille and tactile communication; print height and shape need to be validated on the actual substrate.
Where a sign must meet an accessibility standard, specify the required Braille code, dot geometry, contrast, placement and testing before production. A decorative raised print alone should not be assumed compliant.
CUSTOM CUT COMPOSITE
Cut the outline to the idea.
Custom shapes can make a logo, symbol or display element more noticeable than a standard rectangle. The original page describes coordinating a print file with a CNC cutting template. This is a production detail: the cut path, bleed, clear area and any fixing holes must be designed together.
Send vector artwork or a dimensioned outline. We can agree the cut tolerance and print bleed for the chosen panel and process, then prepare a proof before the full run. Avoid placing important text too close to a cut edge.
FROM FILE TO PANEL
Plan printing, cutting and fixing as one job.
1. Define the setting. Share location, dimensions, expected exposure and mounting surface.
2. Prepare artwork. Confirm scale, colour references, cut lines, holes and bleed.
3. Approve a sample. Check panel finish, print colour and any raised detail where needed.
4. Produce and pack. Print and cut to the approved specification, then label and protect panels for transport.
INSTALLATION DETAIL
A good graphic deserves a sound fixing.
Panel size, orientation, substrate and loads determine the fixing approach. Screws can suit some site signs; architectural or larger pieces may require a designed rail or support system. Edge treatments, joints and access for maintenance should be considered during design.
If the sign carries safety information, review its legibility from the intended viewing distance and keep the installation clear of obstructions.

The video from the original Composite Printing page is retained below. Ask for a sample if the panel will be used outdoors, mounted close to the viewer or printed with raised details.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Can printed composite be used outdoors?
It can be specified for outdoor signs when the panel grade, finish, print, fixing and exposure are suitable. Share the location and desired service period so the build-up can be reviewed.
Can you produce different shapes?
Yes. Send a cut path or dimensioned sketch with the artwork. We will coordinate the bleed, edge clearance and fixing positions before cutting.
Can the signs be reused?
Some screw-fixed panels can be removed and reused if the print, edges and mounting holes remain in good condition. Plan this requirement at the outset.
PROJECT DETAILS
Can you print tactile or Braille signs?
Raised UV print is possible. For regulated tactile or Braille signage, send the applicable standard and specifications so compliance can be evaluated and confirmed separately.
What affects the quotation?
Panel grade and thickness, size, quantity, print coverage, white or raised layers, cutting complexity, finishing and packing all affect price. Share the artwork and delivery brief for a tailored estimate.
