PROJECT OVERVIEW

A Single Interior Graphic, Repeated with Precision Across 138Rooms.

Hilton Garden Inn Istanbul required one large-format panoramic artwork above the headboard in every guest room. The visual extended across the bed and seating area, becoming the room’s primary graphic feature.

Because the same artwork appeared 138times, consistency had to go beyond the print itself. Colour, scale, alignment, edge finishing and final position all needed to remain controlled from the first room to the last.

Boran Reklam approached the commission as one complete hotel rollout rather than 138 unrelated print jobs.

THE REAL CHALLENGE

Repetition Exposes Every Difference. The Standard Had to Hold 138 Times.

The success of the project depended on making every room feel like part of the same hospitality experience — regardless of when the graphic was printed, which room was released or where the installation team was working.

MATERIAL & PRODUCTION

Textile-Backed Wallcovering, Printed In-House.

The panoramic artwork was produced on textile-backed wallpaper selected for a permanent interior wall application. Printing was completed in-house on Boran Reklam’s SwissQprint UV platform.

For a project built around one repeated design, the production run was controlled as a single programme. Artwork preparation, colour appearance, material handling and installation readiness were planned for the complete hotel scope.

  • Custom panoramic artwork preparation
  • Textile-backed wallcovering
  • In-house SwissQprint UV printing
  • Consistency control across 320 graphics
  • Material preparation for room-by-room installation

WORKING INSIDE FINISHED ROOMS

Preparation Protected the Room and the Programme.

Each installation took place inside a furnished guest room containing the bed, upholstered headboard, bedside units, lighting, curtains and seating. Before application began, the team protected the surrounding furniture and surfaces.

The wall was then prepared to create a suitable, consistent base for the finished graphic. This disciplined setup helped the installation move efficiently while respecting the completed interior around it.

ON-SITE INSTALLATION

One Wall Per Room. The Same Position Every Time.

Boran Reklam’s installation teams completed the full on-site application scope. Each custom-printed wallcovering was positioned above the headboard, installed and finished before the room progressed to the hotel’s next operational stage.

The installation photographs reveal an essential part of the result: controlled workmanship inside an already finished environment. At this scale, clean application and repeatable positioning were production requirements, not finishing touches.

ROOM-BY-ROOM ROLLOUT

The Hotel Was Never Treated as One Open Worksite.

Rooms were closed and handed over one by one. Production and installation therefore followed the hotel’s release sequence, limiting the affected area while keeping the refurbishment moving.

01 · Produce

Prepare the repeated artwork and wallcovering batches around the programme.

02 · Release

03 · Install

Protect, prepare, position, apply, finish and hand over each room.

FROM PRINTER TO HOTEL ROOM

One Team Controlled Both the Graphic and Its Final Position.

The same company responsible for artwork preparation and UV printing also installed the finished material. That continuity connected production decisions with real installation conditions and reduced the coordination gaps that can emerge between separate suppliers.

PROJECT RESULT

138 Finished Rooms in Approximately Three Weeks.

The final result was intentionally consistent: one custom panoramic graphic, produced to the same visual standard and installed in the intended position across all 138 guest rooms.

For hotel operators, interior contractors and design teams, the project demonstrates the value of combining specialist print production with a repeatable on-site installation system — especially when the same branded interior element must perform across hundreds of spaces.
