THE PROJECT

Renewing a Recognisable Brand Across Four Facades

STAR Automaterialen needed its facade signage renewed at four locations in the Netherlands. Each site had to display the same recognisable blue wordmark and red star, while the signs had to work with the proportions and viewing angles of the individual buildings.

Boran Reklam produced the signage in Türkiye and carried out installation across the Netherlands. The completed facades bring the STAR Automaterialen identity into view in daylight and after dark.

PRODUCTION IN TÜRKİYE

One Production Base for a Four-Site Rollout

The STAR Automaterialen letters and red star elements were made at Boran Reklam’s production facility in Türkiye. The workshop photograph shows a dimensional letter and star element during the illuminated sign production process.

Producing the signs together helped maintain the same logo proportions, colours and visual character for the four locations. Each completed set was prepared for the next stage of the project: installation on its respective facade in the Netherlands.

THE SIGNAGE

A Clear Identity After Dark

The illuminated STAR wordmark, red star and automaterialen lettering make the building identifiable in low light. The facade photographs show how the signs sit high on the building and remain legible from the surrounding parking area.

The same branding language carries across the different facades. Dimensional letters add depth in daylight, while illumination keeps the name prominent in the evening.

ON-SITE INSTALLATION

From Turkish Production to Dutch Facades

After production in Türkiye, Boran Reklam installed the signs at four STAR Automaterialen locations across the Netherlands. Coordinating the work across multiple sites meant adapting the installation to each building while preserving the appearance of the brand.

The Amsterdam installation photograph captures the team positioning the facade letters using an elevated work platform. It shows the practical on-site stage behind the finished illuminated signs.

THE RESULT

A Consistent STAR Automaterialen Presence

The renewed signage gives STAR Automaterialen a consistent facade identity at four locations. In the finished exterior view, two illuminated signs are visible on adjoining faces of the building, helping the brand read from more than one approach.

The project brought together manufacturing in Türkiye and installation throughout the Netherlands to deliver a coordinated signage rollout for a multi-location business.
